CHAMPION OF SERBIA AND
MONTENEGRO ALSO FOR TOP POSITIONS
This years champion of Serbia and Montenegro Andrej Jereb and Miran Kacin,
will participate in Slovenian rally for the first time his year. They 
had some technical
problems with their seat ibiza kit car, but anyway they are one of candidates
for top positions of 26th Saturnus rally. They show that they can
compete with other fast drivers in last rally of Serbia and Montenegro
championship (SMN), 36th YU rally, when they were a little faster
than champion of Bulgaria Krum Donchev with Peugeot 306 maxi. We are sure, that
all Slovenian rally fans will be very glad to see Andrej and Miran in 'work', and
that spectator love Andrej we saw in hill climb race in Ilirska Bistrica, when
they rewarded him with big applause, and he thanked them with using hand brake.
Andrej is thinking of change the car for the new season 2004, we already mention
that in last rallies there has been some technical problems with Ibiza, which
is quite old. Few weeks ago Andrej tested at Prodrive prepared Subaru impreza
group N. So we can expect, that next season he will drive 4 WD car, but N
group, which is not so attractive for spectator as group A. Which mark new car will
be it is not known yet. Andej also get some experiences with roads where
Saturnus rally will take place, he already drive here some years ago. And also
his co-driver Miran, who helps to the organizers, will help him, Miran knows
each details of home roads. That's why we can count them in candidates for top
positions of 26th Saturnus rally. And we are also sure, that Andrej
will do anything, to satisfy expectations of spectators.
To Saturnus rally also one of his rivals in Serbian championship
entered. This is Vladan Petrović, he'll drive citroen xsara gr.N, and Petrovic
also 
win one of 2003
rallies for Serbian championship, Interspeed rally, and in 2001 he was also
champion of Serbia. Petrović is is a driver with a lot of experiences and it
will be interest to compare him with Boštjan Logar from Slovenia, who compete
in similar car. But unfortunately in last rally of SMN his engine failed, and
there is a question if Petrović will come to Saturnus. We hope he will.
