After two stages of Leg 2 Andrej Jereb had to
retire due to the technical problems with his kit car ibizas' engine.
"There was possibillity to go on, but damage would be to big so we
decided to retire" said Andrej. DeCecco is still leading, 1:26,6 ahead
of Mitja Klemenčič, group žN leader. Third is Tomaž Kaučič.
A lot of crews had problems with flat tyres. Milan Bubnič twice and Boštjan Logar are two of them, buth were fighting for good result. Because of technical problems Alex Humar had to retired. On SS5 Croatin crew Drenjančević - Fučec went about 300m off the road, but nobody was hurt. The weather is very changable. At the start of Leg 2 there was strong rain, in next hour sun shows and just before the start of SS7 it start to rain again. In some sections there is few cm of water on the road. |
